Stubborn Windows 7 script error at startup
When booting up, I receive a pop up box with "An error has occurred in the script on this page"
"Error: Invalid root in registry key "HKCU\software\gaoazuzaga\qzxcsl"
This pop-up error does not occur when booting up in safe mode.
I disables all startup programs using msconfig.exe, but the error still appears.
I cannot find any registry key that matches.
Any ideas?

2018-06-23T19:24:39+00:00 I will try it tomorrow with I visit her. I had downloaded a scanner and ran it, but ran into a paywall before it would clean and it didn't seem worth $47. In the link you provided, someone recommended https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/dl/125/ which I ran on my own PC without any issues and no paywall. It was quick and seemed thorough. I will report back. Thanks again, Frederik
