I have currently in Microsoft Store an UWP app which I am planning to upgrade to a PWA (PWA Chromium). One issue is that my app is based on subscription based business model. From my understanding you cannot make in-app purchases from a PWA.

One solution I have considered is to publish a separate native UWP app in Microsoft Store which would allow only making the purchase. In my app the subscription data is uploaded to backend service so communicating the subscription status between UWP/PWA is not a problem.

My question is that do you accept in Microsoft Store an app which only allows to purchase a subscription (or cancel it)? So I would have two apps in Microsoft Store, the actual app as PWA and a separate app "My App Premium" for purchasing the subscription.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Technically, it should be possible to be published to the Store unless it violates the store policies. You could add some other content like introductions to the old app to make the app not so monotonous.

    Thank you.
