Windows client support for edns

Hi,
Please can you help me ? I want to know if a windows client (win 10) can be configured to send edns requests when dns requests are attempted to be sent ?

The reason I am asking is that there are many routers that do not support dns/tcp and we need a Srv record with > 512 bytes in it (limit of std dns/udp).

Testing using dig on the client shows that with the +edns flag the larger flag is returned.

Thank you,

Andrew

    Hi ,

EDNS is a specification for expanding the size of several parameters of the Domain Name System (DNS) protocol.

Based on my research, EDNS is supported by DNS server instead of windows client.

    Best Regards,

    Candy
