Wondering why MSN Backgammon does not award proper points when I gammon an opponent?? Should be 2 if Doubler not used or mutiples of 2 depending where Doubling cube stands. Same applies to a Backgammon which scores 3 .....or multiples of 3 depending on Doubling cube.
Gammon. A completed game of backgammon in which the losing player has not borne off any checkers. A gammon is also called a double game because the winner receives twice the value of the doubling cube.
A Backgammon is worth 3 points and is awarded when losing player has 1 or more tiles in winner's home
court and same rules apply as to Doubling cube.
