Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
Please reply with the following details to assist you further:
- Where and when do you see the split screen?
- Which build version of Windows are you using? To check type: winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter.
Assuming that you are using the Snap feature in Windows 10, where the Windows gets arranged side-by-side when dragged to the edge of the screen, you can easily disable the option in Windows Settings.
Please refer the steps mentioned below:
- Press Windows key + I, to open Settings.
- Click on System.
- Click on Multitasking.
- On the right pane, under Snap, toggle the switch to disable Snap feature. The option may vary between Windows 10 1809 and 1903. However, if you disable the option the windows will not snap.
