I started decryption over 48 hours ago and its stuck a 94%, is there a safe  way to cancel the running decryption without scrambling the contents of the drive? I've researched many posts and nobody seems to address this issue. all the  posts are about turning decryption on and off but not stopping the process once it has started.

    Hi! bbxriderxx

I'm Marvin an Independent Advisor, and I will help you with your issue.

You cant cancel the encryption, as it is an inbuilt feature.

You can suspend or resume the encryption.

    1. Go to Control Panel, Security, and then Bit locker Drive Encryption.
    2. You can do these solutions.

If you want to suspend Bit Locker, click Suspend Protection, and then Yes.

If you want to turn off Bit Locker and decrypt the drive, click Turn off Bit Locker, and then Decrypt Drive.

If you still having problems with this, I will be around to help you.

    Regards.
