File Locks

Every time I save a file in Windows 10 (no matter what the application) I get a "lock" on the file.  I have no problem getting into the file and I do not need a password.  I can make the lock go away by right clicking on the file, selecting file ownership, and selecting the unlock personal option.  Clearly the problem is in file ownership and, since it applies to all applications, I assume it is a problem with the Windows 10 user account.  How can I stop all the files from getting a lock on them?  Thanks.

    Hi T

If you right click the parent folder of all those documents and choose properties, on the resulting dialog, is the permissions on that folder set incorrectly?

Checked the permissions of all user accounts - every one has full permissions for every file.
