What is the Allocation unit size when you click on Fomat ? 8192 bytes ?
If not, choose ca. If yes, try to set it to Default allocation size
You can also put it in exfat, it can be good for flash drives.

I want to recognize fat32 format USB on embedded device.
In Windows XP and 7, formatting USB and copying files should be fine on embedded devices.
But in Windows 8 and 10, if you do the same, the embedded device will not recognize USB.
All conditions are the same, the other depends on which Windows (xp 7 <=> 8 10) the USB fat32 format is used.
How is the fat32 format command in Windows 8 and 10 different from previous windows?

The audio player does not seem to support NTFS.
I think we need to find another way.
Is there any difference between the USB format function in Windows 7 and 10?
Ok, what about ntfs? does that cause the same problem? So, I even advise you to format it in ntfs. It is a better system than FAT32 and it can manage larger files (above 4gb)
Thank you for answer.
Sorry, my question wasn't correct.
There is no problem with fat32 USB recognition and file copy in Windows 10.
The problem is with devices that need to plug in this USB ("audio player").
If I format it as fat32 in Windows 7, copy the music file and insert it into the 'audio player' to recognize the music file.
And when I do the same on Windows 10, there's no problem with formatting and copying files. However, inserting this USB into the 'audio player' will not recognize music files.
The problem depends on the Windows formatted USB.
For example, if I format a USB in Windows 7 and copy a file in Windows 10, the Audio Player recognizes the file.
Conversely, if I format a USB in Windows 10 and copy a file in Windows 7, Audio Player doesn't recognize the file.
I don't know why this difference occurs.
Hello, my name is Marco and I am an Independent Advisor. I will do my best to help you.
Sometimes, Fast Startup feature can cause the issue: your USB drive may not be recognized by Windows 10. Therefore, you can turn off Fast Startup can see if the problem can be fixed.
Now see if it recognizes the FAT32 format ...
