Hey guys,

Any idea as to why I get this error?

Since I bought the laptop (OS-Free) and installed windows 10 I get this everytime I turn it on. If i press enter everything is fine, but it just doesn't seem ok to have this error all the time.

/// So , the windows works perfectly fine but I get this error all the time I try and open it. The problem is that if I disable "Secure Boot Support" I get the following error (3rd image) and then windows won't start.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you receive a warning regarding Secure Boot Violation when booting the PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

1. What is the make and model of the PC?
2. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.

Method 1:

Try loading the BIOS to default settings and see if the issue persist. You may want to get in touch with the manufacturer of the PC for further assistance with resetting BIOS.

In addition, you can check if any update for BIOS is available and try updating the BIOS by contacting the manufacturer.

Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

Method 2:

Disable Driver Signature Enforcement, and see if you are able to boot to Windows normally.

  1. Now press Windows + S key together to open Search.
  2. Now type CMD and select Run as administrator.
  3. Accept the UAC prompts.
  4. Type in the following command and hit Enter:

bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on 5. Restart the PC

Let us know how it goes.
