How can I see what connection attempts are being made to my Azure SQL Server and where are they coming from (IP address)?

I keep getting this error when I try to connect to Azure with SSMS. Something must be set wrong.
In the SSMS login window I'm using "learningazuresqlquerying1.database.windows.net" for my server name. I'm logging in with sqladmin as my login and using the correct password that I created. It says (Microsoft SQL Server, Error:11001) No such host is known
What am I doing wrong? That's what I need to know.
