Are tests written in Python with Appium supported by App Center?

Hi,

we want to use App Center for our mobile app. I am using Appium with Python language to write tests. Does App Center supports Python with Appium. In documentation it seems like it doesn't (it sais Java/JUnit only). Is this really the case? I have lots of code and I don't know java at all, so it would be time consuming to rewrite everything in Java, just to make it work in App Center.
