LinkedEntity Class contains no overall confidence score

Is there a specific reason why LinkedEntity Class does not contain a confidence score for the whole entity rather than only the matches found in the string?

CategorizedEntity Class for example contains a confidence score for the whole Entity, but has no list of matches with positions in the text.

The scenario is to identify the most important topics in company descriptions. A confidences score would be helpful to rank the output and to set a theshold to exclude weakly correlated entities.
