    Hi Nakool -

They are two separate things, which can work together. But Virtual Memory does NOT take the place of having enough RAM. That's why I gave you the best scanner to run to find first-quality discount RAM to upgrade if you want. What did it find?

There is more here to help you understand the difference between physical RAM and Virtual Memory: https://science.jrank.org/pages/1698/Computer-M...

I hope this helps. Let me know how optimizing the Virtual Memory works when you follow the other guide I gave you.

Hi Nakool. I'm Greg, an Independent Advisor.

Virtual Memory is just a paging file to speed up page loading. It does not take the place of physical memory. To optmize your Virtual Memory for best performance see here:

    https://howtofixwindows.com/adjust-virtual-memo...

To find out how much more RAM your PC can take run Crucial System Scanner to check what upgrade options exist for first quality RAM: https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/systemscanner?cm...

You will want to increase physical RAM if the RAM maxes out or has high usage while the CPU is much lower, so that they are out of balance. You can observe these side-by-side in Task Manager.

Let me know if you have any questions.
