Mousepad not working

Question

Hello: The mousepad of my computer did not work.I tried to update the driver but it said that the driver is up to date.If I used and external mouse it work.The computer is a Acer Aspire A315-56Can you tell me how to solve that problem.Thanks,Hiram

I understand that the touchpad of the Acer Aspire A315-56 laptop has stopped working;

Initially I recommend that you try to reactivate the touchpad;

Press FN + F6 or F7 key,(the function key with the touchpad icon key at the same time);

Check if the Touchpad now works;

If it still doesn't work, reinstall the latest driver for the Touchpad:https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver...

The only USB connected was for the mouse. I removed it to see if I can run the program.

Unfortunately, the same previous message I sent you appear again.

Do you have any other suggestion?

Dear hiramj5077,check if there are USB devices connected to the PC and disconnect all of them;

Now try to install the program again;

Since you can solve this problem, maybe you can help me with this other problem:

When I tried to install the tax software from a vendor the following message appear:

I previously installed this vendor tax programs and their work properly.

I would appreciate your help.
