So I was just checking through settings when I saw this. I use 22H2 but I can't go higher. Pretty sure that with Family Safety, but I don't know if I should try and update (even though there is none and i updated quite recently) or I should just leave it.

If you boot your computer from the Windows Installer media, you will do a "full" install -- overwriting all your files/folders.

While Windows is running, if you run the "setup.exe" in the root-folder of that media, you must choose between "keep" or "delete everything".

    Hello,

The current version for Win11 is version 24H2. Version 22H2 indeed has reached end of support. So it means update will not be pushed through for this version anymore, hence you will not be able to update via Settings.

In order to update, you need to run the Installation Assistant downloaded from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    For Windows 11,

Version 22H2 was released in October 2022, and it was supported until October 2024 -- last Fall.

Version 23H2 was released in October 2023, and it will be supported until October 2025 -- this coming fall.

Version 24H2 was released in October 2025, and it will be supported until October 2026.

So, you have not received any security updates for 22H2 since last October.

If Windows Update is not offering an update to 23H2 (nor to 24H2), you will need to download (it is free) the 24H2 version, and then run the "setup.exe" file in the root-folder of the downloaded file.
