Authentificator App backup problem

When restoring my backup on a new iPhone, the Authtificator app deleted all attached accounts within the app. I didn’t do a iCloud safe within the app prior to the backup. Does this mean there is no way to reconnect all accounts that were connected to the athentificator app other than contact each account where I got logged out?
