Activation Error: 0x80072EE2

Can't activate windows, use microsoft store nor use the "Get help" app because of Error: 0x80072ee2.

I've tried a ton of solutions and spent around 7 hours trying to solve it. Even tried doing a clean reinstall of Windows 10 Pro 3 TIMES and apply the solutions again, yet no results.

I can provide proof of what solutions I used (youtube videos and microsoft community) if needed (I would post a screenshot here but it doesn't let me as a big sad face appears with the text "not found").
I was able to get all my windows updates though, which seems to be different from some people's issue since this error affects their windows updates aswell.

A few of the sites from which I tried solutions: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-update-error-0x80072ee2/8a57d23c-45a8-41fe-82df-c026ae357a56 (microsoft community)

Please help me. I'm out of options and don't know any other method of doing it

I want to be atleast able to activate my Windows 10 Pro. If that issue is solved atleast, then I'm satisfied,

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

    slmgr /dlv

Then share a screenshot please. Thanks!

The command doesn't do anything for me. neither in cmd ran as admin nor in windows run (Win + R)

Also I don't have the "Your phone" app and the Phone Link settings say: Some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization

Edit: I managed to get acces to the Phone Link settings, but now when I try downloading the 2 apps needed it's just stuck at "Pending"

Troubleshooter is not going to work if your license is not a digital license.

Have you tried activating by phone?

    Run this command:

    slui 4

    Then follow the on-screen prompt.

The license im currently trying to use is a windows 10 pro license from a trusted person which bought it for me.

Before trying to reinstall windows, windows already had a retail windows 10 pro key activated but had the same error (0x80072ee2).

The problem isn't the key or anything related to it, in the worst case scenario I can just get another key. The thing is, when trying to select "Change product key" and inserting my key, after some time the error 0x80072ee2 will appear with some text added (I can't recall it exactly).

Even if trying to run the troubleshooter, same error appears.

Also, as additional info, in one of my clean installs I tried inserting my key right from the installation, instead of selecting "I don't have a product key" but the issue still persists.

And no, the hardware didn't change.

    Hello,

When dealing with license activation issue, the very first step is to understand the type of license you are using, because activation methods can differ.

So, please tell me how you obtained your pro license initially?

Did you purchase it, or did it come with the device?

If you purchased it, did you get it from Microsoft, or third party? Was it initially Home and you purchased the upgrade to Pro?

Any hardware change lately? Or is this a new install?
