Hello. I will be brief. My wife swaped at my instruction from a IMO useless apple mac to a IMO real PC and I admit she was new and mucked up with copying my serial number thinking she was doing the right thing so we could both have our renewal dates at the same time. Yes it was super dumb but thats as far as I am going on that score for my own safety reasons. I now can not under any circumstances uninstall Quickheal Total Security on either computer so I can dam well buy either her or I a separate version and Quickheal have been bloody useless in helping us SO, because I have used QH for a long time, want to keep using them (but getting doubtful now!!), for the life of me, I cann not uninstall it. Does anyone know how I can FORCE it to uninstall so I can put on a new version or I am just going to select another Security software. I covered the serial numbers only because a mate told me to and not for any other reason. Thanks in advance

Hi Darren, I'm Ramesh, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

It appears there is no specialized uninstaller tool available to remove Quick Heal Total Security. If the standard uninstaller (via Apps & Features) doesn't work, I can help you remove its drivers manually using the Farbar Scanner.

Please run the Farbar Scanner and share your logs on OneDrive.

    1. Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool 64-bit (FRST64.exe)

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farba...

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears. See this screenshot: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/me...

    1. If the OS language is non-English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe.
    2. Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
    3. Zip the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, upload them to your OneDrive and share the link here.
