Hi,

We have certain DC servers which are going to be demoted randomly. Earlier we had observed if any DC server gets demoted we start to receive flood of alerts in our queue. Issue is these DC servers are dependent on each other and we cannot put all the DCs in maintenance. Is there any way to suppress the alerts.

Best Regards,
Ravi

@viBhushan-5427, From your description, I know some DC servers to be demoted randomly. And when we demote one, we get a lot of alerts.

Here, I would like to confirm if the agent on the DC which will be demoted has been removed before the demotion. If not, we suggest to uninstall the agent on this DC in SCOM console.

However, if we still get a lot of alerts, we would like to know what are the alerts we get? And which monitor or rule generate this alerts to do further analysis.

    Hope it can help.
