Screen time limits

I'm having an issue with the screen time limits. We add screen time limits for kids youtube, for 30 minutes a day. My children each have a tablet and an android phone. When the limit of 30 minutes is reached on one device, they can switch to the other and they somehow get an additional 30 minutes. Shouldn't screen time limits be applied across all devices?

Hello. Yes the screen time limits should apply to all devices. Android is based off a linux gnu kernal. If it was a windows phone I know it would work. I do not even know if they still sell windows phones anymore. A windows tablet is a higher cost. There called "Surface" and advertised as a laptop, we all know it is a tablet. A laptop has replaceable parts for hard drive and ram as a tablet device has soddered memory. It is probably because the user agent and display aspect resultion has changed. You can change the aspect resultion on a laptop and the user agent in devleoper settings on a laptop. They sound like smart kids 1hr youtube don't sound too bad. 7am_9pm - 1hr = 13hrs no youtube. I personaly do not like shorts on youtube as they are kind of useless. They do have some neat learning channels. Could down the limit to 15 mins but in my opnion if they was clever enough to get 30+30 mins leave it at that. They sell a tiny "jail" that you can put the devices into. They are called phone/tablet lock box some come with timers.

Unfortunately, after the recent update to the Family and Safety feature, the screen time limit is now separated on your connected devices. This means that each device has its own screen-time limit.
