Webcam Driver

Question

Good day

I am in need of some assistance, please.

I recently purchased a DSY-WC310 webcam trouble getting to work on my computer. It's running Windows 10 Pro x64. In device manager it picks up that there is a camera under "Other devices" as "USB20 Camera" with a question mark icon but I can't get any further than that.

I see in numerous descriptions of this device that it is compatible with Windows 10. I've searched just about everywhere for a driver but to no avail. Does anyone perhaps know if I am able to download a driver for it somewhere? Or another means to get it running?

The device hardware ID that I could find under "details" is listed below if that would be of any help.

Hi Paloma

Still no feedback from the manufacturer but I managed to get my hands on a driver disc for a similar camera and it worked like a charm. I've uploaded the file to my Google Drive for the benefit of others that may have a similar issue. The link is below.

It will need to be installed on compatibility mode for Windows Vista.

Unfortunately, only they can provide a functional driver to install.

Unfortunately, I've had no joy with Driver Easy. It does not detect the camera at all.

I found an email address on the camera packaging that I have attempted to contact but I'm still awaiting a response from them. As soon as they respond I'll post an update with what they say.

The ideal is to check the manufacturer's website for the availability of the Windows 10 compatible driver.

I also leave the suggestion to try to download the drive with a specific program. Driver Easy has the free version where you can try to download it and check if it finds a compatible driver.
