Dell Latitude E5570
Windows 10 version 20H2 (updates current)
Brother MFC-L3770CDW printer (driver & software up to date)
Every time I boot my computer, under Update & Security, I receive Install Microsoft generic print driver. The Brother print driver is installed and working properly. Click on Install and it disappears with You're Up To Date. Printer and scanner functionality not effected.
Under Brother print driver properties (Device Manager) >Events>one event has the following: Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service StillCam for Device Instance ID ROOT\IMAGE\0000 with the following status: 0
Note sure what that message means or if related to issue but would like to resolve Windows trying to install Microsoft driver when Brother print driver is installed and working. It's an annoyance not a functionality issue.
Thanks
Jeff

I ran Windows Update troubleshooter & no issues were found.
It might have been installed but it remains in Windows Update cache file, Try run Windows Update Troubleshooter for Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
