Microsoft was looking into admitting 7th generation Intel Core processors into the club, but finally settled on only three Core i7 78xx series CPUs.

Still, your processor should meet all the performance and hardware security requirements (UEFI BIOS, secure boot, TPM 2.0, and virtualization based security). You might want to make sure the features are all enabled, using the PC Health Check app. Or the WhyNotWin11 app.

To install Windows 11, you can read the instructions here, specifically those that describe Installation Assistant:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

The caveat being, Microsoft might not offer periodic security and feature updates, for such "unapproved" CPUs. They would much rather you bought a new computer.

Hello, I'm independent advisor A&K. I'm glad to be able to help you.

Your CPU is not on the Windows 11 supported CPU list. You can view it here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

So your hardware does not meet the hardware requirements of Windows 11. You can try to force the installation, but this may cause some problems.

I will keep following up until the problem is solved. My English is not good. If you don't understand my words, please let me know.
