HP Pavilion, my sound doesn't work. It starts normally then fades away and cannot be heard. How can I fix this?

    Hi,

Windows 10 Hardware is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated Windows 10 Hardware forums over here:

    Windows 10 - Hardware & Performance
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=win10itprohardware

    Windows 10 - Performance & System failures

You might also want to make sure you have the latest audio drivers for your HP Pavilion laptop, you can download the drivers from here:

HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

    Best regards,
