Microsoft Gaming Services Update

There seems to have been an update yesterday as all of my games by Microsoft will no longer run on my computer. I have tried all of the solutions available but none of them have worked thus far. Every time I try to play a game that requires the Gaming Services it just open up that app in the store. This has been very frustrating, and I have wasted a lot of time on this to no avail. Please let me know if there are any new solutions besides waiting on another update to fix the one that they introduced.

    Hi AlienWars,

Good day! This is Jhakesong and I will be happy to assist you with this.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience. If you haven't tried yet, I suggest doing a Reset and a Repair of Gaming Services from your computer. Here's how:

    1. Click Search type Apps
    2. Open Default apps
    3. Search for gaming services
    4. Click Adavanced Options
    5. Try a repair first and once done check your games.
    6. If the issue still persists, try a reset and check again.

If the above does not work, you might need to uninstall gaming services and install it again. Here's a guide on how to do that:

Let me know how it goes. Have a great day!
