How do I determine what resolution the camera barcode scanner is setting the camera to?

This link shows the required resolution of the camera to be used with the MS Camera barcode scanner. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/devices-sensors/pos-camerabarcode-system-requirements How do I actually set the resolution of the camera or know what resolution the camera was using at the time it scanned a barcode? We are using .NET Framework 4.8. The barcode scanner class has a capabilities property, but it does not indicate image resolution.

Yes, using WPF. However, as far as I can tell, the BarcodeScanner classes in the PointOfService namespace don't care about what the windowing environment is.
The only topics that seem relevant are the OS version (WinRT version and configuration) and .NET platform (Core, UWP, Framework).
