Windows 10 dark search bar box problem

Windows 10 search bar after turning to DARK MODE still not working, its white no matter what.

Thank you for updating me with that information. I recommend checking again the link in my previous response regarding the instructions to change the web browser used in web search on the Start menu or Search bar.

You may need to go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Web browser > select Opera GX Browser

After that, open the Start menu

Please try to do a web search then click on it.

You will be prompted to select a Web browser. Please select EdgeDeflector.

Great, I am happy that worked. You can Install EdgeDeflector from the link below to force the web search to open in Opera GX browser. I tried it just now and it works.

Did you recently turn off Search online and include web results from Bing in Windows 10?

Please try the method below if it helps.

Press Windows key+R to open Run then paste the following to open the old Personalization.

shell:::{ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921}

Press Enter

Under Windows default, select Windows or Windows (light)

After that, set your device to Dark Mode again.

**Please try creating a new local administrator account then check if the issue persists.
