Couldn't Download - Network Issue

This error is occurring since the first time I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. Basically, I am unable to install any file from a browser. Whenever I install any file, it just says Couldn't download - Network Error. This is ruining the whole Windows experience as it was supposed to be good and easy to use. I am unable to do anything right now, can't install apps from the browser, anything that needs to install data from the internet doesn't seem to work. Although, apps which I am installing from Google or Microsoft are getting installed easily. This is not a network or hardware error most probably, because the same error is not being generated on my Windows 7 running on a different Hard Disk Drive but the same specs and the same WI-FI

    Hi, I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Reset network settings:

    1. Open Start and select "Settings > Network & Internet > Status";
    2. At the bottom of the page, click on "Network Reset";
    3. Select "Reset Now", and at the confirmation screen, select "Yes";

    Note: The PC will need to be restarted.

    1. Now open Start and type cmd;
    2. Right-click on "Command Prompt" in the result list and select "Run as administrator";
    3. At the Command Prompt, type the following commands one at a time and press Enter:

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh advfirewall reset

    netsh winsock reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    1. Restart your PC and see if the issue is resolved.

    If it persists, reinstall the network driver.

    Before starting the procedure, go to the support area of your device manufacturer's website and download the latest network driver.

    (If you cannot find it, please inform the manufacturer and model of your computer)

    Uninstall the current driver:

    1. Open "Device Manager" (Windows + X and select Device Manager);
    2. Expand "Network adapters";
    3. Right-click on the adapter and select "Uninstall device";

    (It may have more than one adapter, if you don't identify the correct one, send a screenshot "Windows + Shift + S")

    1. On the confirmation screen, check "Delete the driver software for this device" and click "Ok";
    2. Restart the PC.

    Install the driver you downloaded from the manufacturer.

    I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Are you sure it is connected to the internet when your trying to download, Does it show the Wi-Fi signal or does it show a sphere with a small circle with a diagonal line across it. Make sure you are not trying to do this while you have Airplane mode on. Also try changing the web browsers Web protection option and make sure that the top option is not selected, as that can cause this issue with certain (if not all) downloads.

    The first method worked for a few seconds, when I opened a Youtube video, it showed the same error again. I will try reinstalling the network drivers

    Do you have another Wi-Fi networks you can use? If so trying using a different Wi-Fi network (that is isn't provided/given from the printer.) Then let us know what happens. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer or windows.
