2022-01-26T02:25:24+00:00 Hi IBTM,
Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.
It sounds like you are currently having problems with DNS encryption setting.Sorry for the inconvenience.
The system does not open settings for all DNS, you can check the DNS options of open settings through the registry:
Press Windows+R to open the Run > Type regedit in the box > OK to open the Registy Editor > Locate to
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dnscache\Parameters\DohWellKnownServers
>You can see some DNS IP addresses
If you want to add a new item, you can try the following steps:
- Right-click in this categories dropdown and create a new Key,the name of the Key is the address of the DNS you want to add.
- Double-click to open the new KEY, and create a new string value named Template.
- Double-click the string value and set the value data to the address of doh.
Disclaimer: Generally, modifying registry subkeys or work group is intended for advanced users, administrators, and IT Professionals. It can help fix some problems, however, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
