My program cannot run under hyper-v?

Good evening,

I am getting an error message that the PE design 11 embroidery software I recently installed "cannot run under hyper-v!', however, I am running Windows 11, so that service is not offered, thus it does not appear as a function I can turn off through the control panel, and the command I enter by running power shell is not recognized (assuming because this service is not offered).

I am confused on how to proceed. Is this error with myself, windows, or the PE software product?

Any suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated. I am willing to try anything at this point.

Hi there,

I'm Cherrelyn, I'm here to help and I understand how frustrating this must be.

Please try these suggestion:

  1. Turn off optional virtualization features:
    • Open Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off
    • Uncheck these if enabled:
    • Hyper-V
    • Virtual Machine Platform
    • Windows Hypervisor Platform
    • Windows Sandbox
    • Restart your PC.
  2. Disable Memory Integrity:
    • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation
    • Turn off Memory Integrity if it’s on.
  3. Check for Virtualization-Based Security (VBS):
    • Search for “System Information” > Look for “Virtualization-based security” and make sure it says “Not Enabled.”

After these steps, try launching PE Design again.

Let me know how it goes and I’m here to guide you further if needed!

Warm regards,

Cherrelyn

look I don't know what they do with these Windows updates. I just wanted to open my program that cost $70 and I am very upset that I did all the steps to disable Hyper-V and it didn't work
