Mac User with Microsoft Teams - error Code 401

How do I resolve the 401 error code for Microsoft teams.

 I use a Mac with Office 365 and Teams had been running fine until late December 2021.

Since then, I cannot access Teams.  I've tried re-installing several times but I get the same error message

    this error happened if you don't have permission to the group or the group has been deleted, kindly check with the administrator and make sure you have the permission.
