    Hi Arya,

Thank you for reaching out to this forum. I'm Utkarsh and as a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you today.

I am a user like you, this is a user forum and not Microsoft directly.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    1. What operating system are you using (Windows, Mac, Linux)?
    2. What specific issues are you encountering with your camera?

Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try in the meantime: To install a camera on Windows and troubleshoot any issues, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check for Updates: Start by checking for updates for your camera. Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates. If there are no updates for your camera, try to select Advanced options > Optional updates, and look for any driver updates for your camera. Allow available updates to install, then restart your device when it's ready.
    2. Allow Camera Access for Apps: Go to Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Camera, then make sure Camera access is turned on. This setting allows any user on the device to choose if they want apps to be able to access the camera. If you can't change the Camera access setting, you'll need an administrator on the device to turn it on for you. Make sure Let apps access your camera is turned on. This setting allows you to choose if any of your apps can access the camera. It doesn't set which specific apps can access the camera. Once you've allowed your apps to access the camera, you can change the setting for each app.
    3. Reinstall Camera Driver: If the camera stops working because of driver corruption or configuration problems, reinstalling the camera using Device Manager may resolve the issue. To do this, open Device Manager, expand the Imaging devices, Cameras, or Sound, video and game controllers branch, right-click the webcam, select the Uninstall driver option, click the Uninstall button, click on Actions, and then click the Scan for hardware changes option and/or restart the computer. Once you complete these steps, try to use the camera with an app, and it should work as expected.
