Hi All,

Last month sometime my mailbox just from 50 to 100gb - brilliant right!!.

I've noticed that it has suddenly dropped back down to 50gb any idea.  Since i'm in IT I control the O365 tenant and we didn't decrease mailbox sizes.

My setup;

Office 365 (2016)

Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit

16gb, i7

Thanks

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your PM.

From the screenshot in the PM. I found that the size of your mailbox is 50G.

In this situation, I suggest you set the ProhibitSendReceiveQuota of your mailbox to 100G based on this article: How to set Exchange Online mailbox sizes and limits in the Office 365 environment. Then check if the mailbox size update to 100G.

If the method above doesn't work, could you please share the detailed information about where did you check the mailbox size changed before? A screenshot would be better.

Thanks,

Amanda

    Hi Daniel,

Based on my experience, the limit storage of user mailbox is increasing to 100 GB of Office 365 Enterprise E3 user.

So I would to confirm the following information for further analyzing:

If you are the admin of your organization, please check the quota of the problematic account via the following steps:

    1. Connect to Exchange Online Using Remote PowerShell.
    2. Run this cmdlet Get-Mailbox the email address of the problemetic account | fl IssueWarningQuota,ProhibitSendQuota,ProhibitSendReceiveQuota,UseDatabaseQuotaDefaults and send us the screenshot of the output. For detailed information, please refer to the part of How do you know this worked? of this article: Configure storage quotas for a mailbox.

If you are not the admin, please contact the admin of your O365 organization to do this.

Besides, could you please share the detailed information about where do you check the mailbox size? A screenshot would be better.

In order to protect your privacy, please send us the screenshot of the output above via private message.

    Regards,

    Amanda
