Hi guys,

I'm wondering if you can help me out. I'm currently using a company email for my business. I want to automatically forward the emails I am receiving there to another email, my personal mail. May I know what options I can try to do this?

Thank you so much!

Since copies of mail sent/received is kept unless you choose to delete, why duplicate?

Assuming an exchange mail account what you see on your device is a cached copy of what is on the server.

If you really must you create a rule

    Hi Rick,

Thank you for posting. If you are using Office 365 Exchange online can Turn on automatic forwarding in Outlook on the web. To do this at the top of the page, select Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings.

    • Select Mail > Forwarding.
    • To turn on forwarding, select Start forwarding, enter the forwarding email address and select Save.

Note: Select the Keep a copy of forwarded messages check box if you want a copy of the original message to remain in your mailbox.

For your reference: Turn on automatic forwarding in Outlook on the web

You can also use inbox rules to automatically forward messages sent to your mailbox to another account using Outlook desktop client or OWA.

See Manage email messages by using rules in Outlook desktop and Use inbox rules in Outlook on the web

Here is screenshot Inbox rule in Outlook Web app for your reference:

However, as an admin you can configure email forwarding that lets you forward email messages sent to your user mailbox to another user mailbox inside or outside of your organization. See Configure email forwarding in Microsoft 365

If anything unclear, please feel free to let us know. We will be glad to further help you.

    Best regards,

    Shyamal

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for the detailed NDR. However, as per error message "Remote Server returned '550 5.7.520 Access denied, Your organization does not allow external forwarding", it seems that you your admin has restricted automatically forwarded messages to external recipients (recipients outside of your organization). Given the situation, I would suggest you please contact your Office 365 administrator for further assistance.

As an admin can outbound spam filter policies to control automatic forwarding to external recipients. Change the setting to turn On: Automatic external forwarding is allowed and not restricted.

For your reference, see under Blocked email forwarding messages

Your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Shyamal
