Adding VMM Script stops recovery plan loading

I have a Customer Site - Customer Site set up managed by a VMM 2016 server in Azure Site Recovery. Basic failover tests work absolutely fine. However, the moment I add a VMM Script to the plan I can no longer customise or open the plan and a test failover just sticks and no longer loads. The only thing that works is loading the settings. If I click on the recover plan name (where you see a breakdown of the machines in the recovery plan in tiles) it just sticks there.. with the 3 dots forever trying to refresh.

I cant even get into the recovery plan to remove the script. I have tested and have been able to reproduce this. Works fine, until I add a script. Even if the script has errors since its not running I wouldn't expect this behaviour.

    It just keeps there refreshing forever.. never shows the basic details or displays the items in the recovery plan.
