Projects Artifacts

I'm new to Project Online and would like to understand how/where I can save artifacts (SOW, Risk Analysis, Requirements Document, etc) regarding a specific project? I noticed that SharePoint is where I could upload documents, however it does not provide a relationship to the Project that artifact belongs to. Appreciate any help on this.

Hi Faraz,

Please follow the steps mentioned under the section “Starting from your tasks” from this article,to add a document to a specific project/task.

Here’s another article to know how to upload files to your project site: Upload files to a library.

Let me know if you need further help.

Regards,

Neha

    Faraz --

In addition to saving your project in Project Online, you must also PUBLISH (File > Published) your project.  The act of publishing your project will make it visible in PWA to all interested parties, and will create the associated Project Site in SharePoint on the first publish operation.  Once you have published your project, navigate to the Project Center page and then click the name of the project.  On the next page, click the Project Site link near the top of the Quick Launch menu on the left side of the page.  On the Home page of the Project Site, you will see a Documents library.  This is where you can upload your project artifacts.  Hope this helps.
