    Hi Joe,

When you say, ***“***Document connect doesn't seem to work.”, please confirm if you are trying to do either of the following things:

Scenario 1: Are you trying to sync the SharePoint document library on your system?

If you want to sync the SharePoint Online document library to your desktop, you must install the new sync client from this article. The article will guide you through the process and will help you sync your personal document library along with the team site library.

Scenario 2: Do you want to edit a document from SharePoint Online in Office desktop client?

If you want to edit/open a document from SharePoint Online using the Office desktop client, you must install Office 2016 from Office 365 portal.

If the above-mentioned scenarios are not what you are looking for, please clarify your requirement. Also, please reply with the screenshot of the error, if any.

    Thanks,

    Neha
