Hey!

I have a problem regarding the superscripts in Word. I tried to increase the size but this changes the spacing between the sentence where the superscript is and the previous one. Any other suggestions to make superscript look bigger in a way that doesnt affect spacing etc?

Thanks

Approach it from the other direction.  Type the letter that you want "superscripted" then via the Advanced tab of the Font dialog, raise the font and reduce the font size to retain the line spacing.  In the following screen shot, the 2 after text has been treated in that way and the 2 after box is the normal superscript

There will be a limit to what you can do before you either impact on the line spacing or achieve nothing.

You could try selecting the superscripted character and then on the Advanced tab of the Font dialog, select lowered from the Position drop down and set the amount by which the superscripted character should be lowered to restore the line spacing.  In the following screen shot, the superscript character is 16 pt while the normal text is 11.5 pt.

    Hi, Christoforos,

you may try to use a different font. Some fonts seems bigger or smaller with the same size.

Hi Christoforos, there is no way to do that in Word, increasing the font size on superscript text will always increase the line spacing

The only way to do that is to insert a tiny text box, remove the border and fill of the text box, then insert your text and move that text box into position
