Missing channel in sharepoint

Hello,

 we have issue with MS Teams/sharepoint. If we create new team from a template added members (including owners) cannot see channels in sharepoint- only in teams. They see only general channel but nothing else. If we want to sync this team to our computers we also sync only general channel (or folders we can see). 

 But if I open channel in teams and choose "open in sharepoint" it will appear. But only that channel i opened via teams. I´m sendig few pictures that can help understand that- on the final piture there is channel "obchod" - it is visible because i oppened it during testing.

 Do you have any advice for us ?

Thanks for the updates. it is no need to let every users click “Open in SharePoint”. Per my test, the folder for the channel will be created immediately in related SharePoint library after one of members in the channel click the button or upload a file. That is to say, all members should see the folder if any of them interact with the File functionality in the channel.

 ok- nice to know i am not alone with this behavior. Thank you for description but i do not know how to work with that. We are creating new teams from template because it saves lot of time for us but if this is standart behavior it seems useless. In our case that mean every user need to open every channel via "open in sharepoint" to be able to see them in sharepoint (and sync it) ? Or stop creating new teams from template and setup every single new team ?

 Few weeks ago it was working- i do not what can change...

Hi Martin S._414,

I go through the post carefully. Per my test, I can see similar behavior when I create a team from templates. The folder with the channel name in library named ”Document” in SharePoint is default file storage location for the channel. Usually, when creating a channel in a team, a folder is generated automatically for the channel in SharePoint. While if we create a team from template with existing channels. The generation process starts after we click “Open in SharePoint” under File tab in the channel.
