OneNote: Turn off spellcheck for Code.

I use OneNote to document code solutions and code examples. This way I can also add notes, highlights, bullets, etc. I use the Code style from the Styles section to quickly format the pasted code. Once I paste the code, spellcheck lights up the screen with red underlines. I don't want to completely turn off spellcheck, because I also use OneNote for documentation and notes.

  • Is there a way to turn off spellcheck for the Code style?
  • Can spellcheck be updated to tolerate code?
  • Is there a better solution?

    Hi Heath Bishop,

We can’t partially turn off spell check, we can either enable it or completely disable. Sorry to deliver this news.

If you wish to add the code to the dictionary, so the red or green line do not appear, you can consider Adding or editing words in a spell check dictionary

    Regards,

    Neha
