Microsoft Office 365 - Language Problem

Good Day,

Recently\purchased a new laptop and Microsoft office 365. When I open office, everything is in English (My Primary Language) but when I open Microsoft word, excel, etc. the intro message or template is always in French. I've confirmed all of my account and computer settings are set for English and I cannot find a solution for this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    This forum is a user-to-user support forum. My name is Charles and I am a fellow user with decades of experience using Microsoft Word. I have written extensively on using Word and have authored help articles on the Microsoft site.

    There are several language settings for Word. What are the language settings for Windows?

    File > Options > Proofing

    The setting that should determine this is the one for Office Display Setting.
