I am using MS Office 365 . Now suddenly old version files (Microsoft Excel Worksheet ) embeded in powerpoint can not be opened. error -PowerPoint error "The server application, source file, or item can't begounf, or returned an unknown error." Please help

You can try the following steps to see if it helps:

Right click Windows Key, click Windows Powershell(admin) type the command below then press enter.

regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\ole32.dll

Disable Protected Mode by going to File > options ，then follow the steps in picture below. Uncheck three boxes in picture.

Restart PowerPoint to see if it helps.
