MS TO DO APP

Question

Hi. When I open the Microsoft To Do app on my iPhone 8, the battery drains at a remarkably high rate, some of my other apps completely freeze, most notably WhatsApp and Gmail, and my phone gets very warm. The only way I can solve this is to close all the apps, switch off my phone and wait a few minutes before switching my phone on again. I then don't open the MS To Do app again. I can only use it on my laptop, but would be far better to have it on my phone as well. I'd appreciate any assistance/advice. Thanks. Sam

Apologies for the inconvenience caused, to start with the troubleshooting I advise you install the latest software that is compatible with your phone for this could be a compatibility issue.

Also uninstall the app and reinstall it back and check if the issue will change.

You can also consider @ Palcouk suggestion to see how will that work for you.

Please check the software and uninstalling the app and let us know the result.

If you have an exchange mail account you use the Outlook app from the App Store configured with your mail account mail/reminders/calendar on the iPhone will fully sync

I don't use the win To Do app on the PC as I found it problematic, I use Tasks etc within MS Outlook
