excel sort/ linking cells advice

Hi!

For examples the below table in in sheet 1

colours number accepted
blue 3 y
green 7 n

table in sheet 2

colours number remarks accepted
blue 3 y
green 7 n

so columns "colours" "number" "accepted" are linked in both sheets so any changes to sheet 1 will change sheet 2. so this is my question if I sort sheet 1 I want my remarks to sort with the particular rows. is there a way to link column "remaks" and "colours" in sheet 2 , so that it is a cascade effect. So if I sort table in sheet 1 then sheet 2 changes along with my remarks column .

    I agree with Andreas, there is no way I know of to make that kind of link?

    .

    On the other hand, why do you have the separate "sheet 2" with identical information, with only the 'remarks' column added? Why not just add the remarks column to "sheet 1", even if it is mostly blank?

    That is not possible.

    Furthermore if you use simple formulas to "link" into the other sheet, the data get mixed up. Please read this article:
