Citations missing from reference list

Hi,

I have the desktop version of Microsoft word installed and I have used the reference function within it. I have added references as in-text citations with no problem, including within tables. These have all been allocated a chronological number as would be expected.

When I insert the table of references, it excludes the reference numbers that are in text citations within the tables in the main body of the text. It knows they are there as the reference list displays gaps in the reference list numbering as shown below:

Does anyone know how to get references that are in text citations within a table to be included in the reference list at the end of the document?

If I can't get this resolved, my next plan is to ask for the Mendeley add in to be installed by IT. I had hoped I could use MS Word references as an alternative.
