Could you expand on this a bit?

Is anything changing in the printed document, itself?

"Template" in Word jargon is a bit different from how it is used in general English.

    Templates in Microsoft Word

I assume you mean a new document based on a template.

    Dear Murielle,

Thanks for your updates and screenshots.

May I know whether the issue happens after you click on Insert>Quick Parts>Building Blocks Organizer>insert a building block?

It seems that you are using a custom template to create a new file. If yes and if you use a newly created blank file, what's the result?

Meanwhile, I'd like you to click on File>Account and upload a full screenshot of the Account page in the Word application for our reference.

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

    Best Regards,

    Cliff

As Charles suggested, it would help if you expanded a bit on what you are seeing. A screen shot is likely to be useful.

    Dear Murielle,

    Welcome to the forum here.

I do a test with the latest version number of the Word application and I can't reproduce the issue in our environment.

What did you do before the issue happened? Does the issue happens in the existing files or even a newly created file?

To fully confirm the issue in your environment, I'd like you to record a video showing the issue in your environment. You can follow the steps in the articleto use the PowerPoint application to record the video. I have sent you a private message for you to upload the video.

Meanwhile, I'd like you to click on File>Account and upload a full screenshot of the Account page in the Word application for our reference.

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

    Best Regards,

    Cliff
