How to get help from Microsoft

I called their number and it hung up on me (twice, actually--the second time it directed me to this online system), and this online system only directs me to their "community." How can a person actually get help for their Microsoft problem?

This forum is the Community to which you were referred. Stefan never said Microsoft didn't have tech support, that's something you made up. Here is the MS page for various support contacts.

This is a user-to-user forum, so nobody here can help you get in touch with Microsoft support, I'm afraid.

What you can do is ask a question about Word in this forum, and someone should be able to provide assistance.

Someone who knows the answer will respond. Contributors here are in different time zones, so sometimes you will have to wait a while.

Thank you. So how do I get help? I already asked a question an hour ago and don't want to just wait until someone, somewhere, someday MIGHT be able to help me.
