Using a different Authenticator app for 2FA instead of the MS Authenticator app

Good day. I want to set up 2FA on my OneDrive account but all I can find is how to do it using the MS Authenticator app. I already have an authenticator app that I use and love and don't want to switch. Is there any way to set up the 2FA using the app I already have? I get stuck at the point where it will only let me continue AFTER I have installes the MS app, which I don't want to do.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello Bruin96,

In the place where you are asked to set up Microsoft authenticator app Please click on "Set up a different Authenticator app"

Then use your authenticator app to scan the qr code provided and by entering the code from the app there.

That will be all to use your own authenticator app.
