Horizontal scroll blocks vertical scroll

Question

Hi,

Currently using a MX Master 3, when I use the thumb wheel to horizontal scroll a colum indicators apears next to the horizontal scroll bar, after that i cant vertical scroll unless i click on either scroll bar.

thank you very much for the thread this resolved the issue:

Try hovering the mouse over the horizontal scroll bar in excel, then using your side to side wheel.

Once I do this, the mouse wheel to horizontally scroll works everywhere in the spreadsheet.

This just goes to show you that when something isn't working, angrily flinging your mouse around the screen and clicking the mouse button harder does work!

Hi Arturo,

Per the description shared I understand the problem you shared but I am sorry to convey I couldn't share my thought on your problem since you are using MX Master 3 mouse. When I use the normal mouse and used Ctrl + Shift + Mouse wheel to scroll horizontally, I don't have any problem scrolling both vertically and horizontally.

In addition, please make sure your Excel application is up to date. File> Account> Update Options> Update Now.
