How to automatically reapply =Sheet1!A1 function

I'm having issues having one worksheet automatically update the value of a cell once it's changed in the other worksheet. It works once I first apply the formula, then it stops. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Set the Calculation Option to Automatic

    Change formula recalculation, iteration, or precision - Excel

    Does the cell display any error? If so, what is the error you are seeing? Also, please make sure that the format of the cell is not text. If it is, then change the format of the cell to something else, such as General then enter the formula.
